What to Do in Woodstock

Woodstock, on the Thames River, is a manufacturing city settled in 1798. The Woodstock Museum (formerly the City Hall) in Museum Square was designed after the town hall in Woodstock, England. The bell tower of Old St. Paul's Anglican Church, 723 Dundas St., served as a jail during the Mackenzie Rebellion of 1837. The 1834 church features original box pews and has a pioneer cemetery; phone (519) 537-3077 for information about tours.
