Forward Outdoor offers one of the most unique ways to experience Milwaukee. Located directly on the waterfront at Discovery World, our rental location provides immediate access to calm, protected harbor waters with stunning views of the city skyline, Lake Michigan, Lakeshore State Park, and the Summerfest grounds. Unlike many paddling experiences that require transportation, lengthy instructions, or advanced skills, guests can get on the water quickly and explore at their own pace. We offer a variety of watercraft—including kayaks, paddleboards, hydro bikes, and paddle boats—making it easy for families, couples, solo travelers, and groups to find the perfect adventure. As a locally owned Milwaukee business, we're passionate about helping people connect with the outdoors and discover the city from a perspective most visitors never experience.

Single Hydro Bike: Our hydro bikes are a ton of fun! Two pontoons with a bike frame that turns a propeller. Minimum age of 12 years.

Duration: 1 hour: Single Sit-On Top Kayak. Must be 12 years old to paddle alone. Under 12 can go in tandem with adult, min weight 50 lbs.

Duration: 1 hour: Tandem Hydro Bike has 3 pontoons and 2 bike frames connected to propellers. Minimum age of 12.
Paddle boat: Up to 4 people
Paddle boat: Our paddle boats hold up to 4 people. Minimum age of 1 year old. Small dogs are also allowed.
