The public areas house a world-class contemporary art collection. Guest rooms are refined and classically chic with comfortable furnishings. Valet service was excellent, most of the lobby staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful; however, the individual who checked us out was a little snippy and had an attitude. Dinner at the Urban Farmer was excellent; although, they use to much salt on their steaks. May I suggest the waitstaff ask diners if they want salt on their steaks! A ribeye doesn't need to be drenched in salt!! The location was perfect for walking to Voodoo Donuts and Mother's Bistro which I would highly recommend! Although, you do have to go through some "shady" parts of Portland to get there. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend the hotel!
