Hotel personnel were very personable and helpful. We arrived for our stay only to find our that our travel agent had made the reservation for the wrong month. The desk agent was understanding and helpful; after a short wait, he was able to give us the type of room that we had requested. The food in the restaurant and bar was excellent.

The hotel is very nice, nearly the most expensive of our trip (the most expensive was a 1000-year-old castle). I probably would have rated the place more highly except that they called me for a wake-up call at 6:30 am instead of the 6 am I had requested. I had another alarm and so was not inconvenienced by the error, but it is a warning to others not to count on the wake-up calls.
