Hyatt Place Herndon/Dulles Airport-East

It was okay, but they could use a lot of work to the building. Customer service was great! The doors slamming need to be adjusted. I've never stayed at a hotel where you can hear every door open and close. It was awful! Even getting to shut it quietly doesn't work. Breakfast was pretty much the same every day: cereal, bread of some kind, eggs with chives, some sort of sausage, something sweet (waffles, pancakes, French toast), but a lot of it lacked flavor. The Placery (I think that's their food service) did not taste good. I got chicken tenders and they were incredibly slimy. I can't...I threw them out. I'm not one for confrontation or complaining, so I wasn't going to say anything. No microwaves in the room. The fridge took almost a whole day to cool. The ac kept shutting off incredibly loud. They put me in a handicap accessible room, which wasn't very accessible. The floors were so disgusting! Despite all that, I will give them credit for the most important part: customer service. Their customer service was absolutely splendid! They were always so kind, accommodating, helpful, etc. That made everything else okay! The issues I had were not with the hotel staff, but more so the design of things. It's not located near any store, so that sucked too. It was walkable distance to the metro though!
