Hotel Shelley

Resort fees at checkin. They say it’s for hotel amenities. THERE WERE NONE. There’s a tiny sign on the door that says you must checkin at the Chesterfield. I asked for a Drink at the chesterfield and the bartender refused to make any drinks because she was late clocking in. She made every excuse in the book. Mind you it’s 530pm. Well a little after. The was SUPPOSED to open at 5. The hotel reeks of mild and oldness. The rooms have the worst stench ever. It smells like the place flooded and they never replaced the flooring. There’s evidence of mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. The hotel staff sucked. They did not answer any phone calls. I repeatedly had to call chesterfield to get an answer. The rooms didn’t even have a microwave. All in all, look for hidden fees, no amenities, no staff, a bad stinch. The only good thing is the location. It’s a block away the beach and Ocean Drive.
