Comfort Inn And Suites Copley Akron

Room was missing three light bulbs. More importantly the smoke detector was not connected. We asked for maintenance but unfortunately the maintenance man was unavailable due to illness. We were given light bulbs which we replaced ourself but smoke detector was never addressed. Also breakfast was very basic. Refrigerator in breakfast area was broken.

Very good quiet, safe. No room service, but lack of help is very common today.

The room was so dusty I could have written a book on the furniture. The cabinet in the bath was cracked down the center and badly repaired. The mini fridge was barely cool, there was no ice machine on our floor so we had to go up or down for ice. Late in the evening (11:30 and after) we were awakened by very loud banging on the door next to ours and loud yelling. Ultimately the hotel night manager began threatening the person in the room also by saying he was going to call the fire department several times. All-in-all I would not choose to stay at a Comfort Inn and Suites again given any other option. The staff members were pleasant enough but not at all professionally groomed, to say the least. I do realize it has become the norm but slovenly will never be a norm in my opinion. Uniforms offer a much more professional appearance!

Older hotel need alot of upgrades. While I was checking in around 10pm on Friday night 4 children was racing up and down the hallway. Elevator is super old. Get off the floor for my room and it smells like weed. Room was ok, didn't feel comfortable walking around with no shoes. Sleep fine.
