This hotel is right behind Costco and other stores which was convenient. We came here due to the electric vehicle charging stations. However the Tesla chargers did not work and the staff was unable to get them working. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the efforts of them trying. Breakfast was decent. Complimentary waffles, potatoes and eggs. Wish they had more options besides pork.
It was our first time staying at an Ayres brand hotel. The hotel was very nice and clean. The area where it’s at is good and conveniently closed to a shopping center and Costco. However, the front desk person named Cody was not not very nice at all. He had an attitude and was not welcoming at all. It almost seemed like he was disappointed when my family walked in to check in (we’re a mixed race family of Black and Asian). He asked us the purpose of our stay at the Ayres. My family have stayed at many brand name hotels all over the US and other countries, this is the first time we were asked the reason for our stay? The way he asked was very offensive. He made us feel uncomfortable by having to justify or explain our stay. Is that question asked routinely to all other guests? I wonder. There was a platter of cookie on the counter. He never offered us any. We had to asked him if the cookies were free. He responded yes rudely and still didn’t offer us any. We had to ask if we can have some, and he replied “ that’s what it’s there for”. My children thought he was creepy. He even followed us in the swimming pool area. Really weird vibe he gave us. His unkempt appearance and creepy attitude left a sour taste in our mouths.
Thank you for your 5-star review!
This is the first time we’ve stayed at an Ayers hotel. We were very impressed with the looks of the grounds, the cleanliness of the public space and our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
