POINT OF INTEREST

V Theater

3663 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV, 89109

Glittering stars of comedy, music, burlesque, and magic draw crowds to these performance spaces on Las Vegas Boulevard. It’s a sister theater to the Saxe Theater, which is located a short distance away within the Miracle Mile Shops. Together, they are where old-school Las Vegas glamour—think showgirls decked in sequins and feather headdresses—meet innovative offerings such as pole-dancing workshops and mind-reading.

The basics

Operated by show producer David Saxe, the V Theater has gained a reputation for its variety of performances. It’s a go-to venue for smaller, more unique shows that don’t typically play in larger theaters. Currently, Kyle Martin, star of Broadway's Movin' Out, is captivating audiences with dynamic renditions of Billy Joel and Elton John hits.

There is something going on every night of the week, and the theater’s location makes it easy to combine with a restaurant visit for an old-fashioned Vegas dinner and a show. The theater offers meal packages that include a show ticket with dinner at one of the nearby restaurants.

Things to know before you go

  • Grab a cocktail at the Veranda Bar on the upper level of the theater.

  • Sign up for an afternoon ladies-only striptease and pole dancing class at the theater; no previous dance experience is necessary.

  • Travelers suggest picking up V Theater tickets before the night of the show since there can be a long wait at the ticket booth.

  • Las Vegas live comedy acts, hbo showtime and Comedy Central performers and a rotating cast of entertainers have performed at V Theater.

How to get there

The V Theater is located inside the Miracle Mile Shops of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, along the Strip across from the Cosmopolitan. Ridesharing services such as Uber and taxis are readily available in Las Vegas. There is also free valet and self-parking available at the shops, if you choose to drive.

When to get there

The box office is open daily. While the Miracle Mile Shops have relatively long hours, from morning till night, the restaurants and bars may have different hours. Keep that in mind if you plan to grab dinner or drinks after a show.

Miracle Mile Shops

Wrapped around Planet Hollywood are the Miracle Mile Shops, a 1.2-mile (almost 2-kilometer) stretch of stores and restaurants. Browse popular name-brand stores such as H&M, Urban Outfitters, Victoria’s Secret, and more. Plus, the Miracle Mile also boasts its own hourly fountain show with lighting effects and color-changing fog.

Ways to explore

The best way to experience the V Theater is to book a ticket to one of its shows or workshops. Tickets are available online, with options for every age and a wide range of preferences. Keep in mind that it is not possible to request seats in advance when booking. Seats are assigned, but you can call the box office after booking with special seating requests (including for wheelchair-accessible seating). While some performances are age restricted—such as adults-only magic acts, burlesque shows, and pole-dancing workshops—others welcome children.

Accessibility

All performance spaces have accessible seating for users of wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

Age limits

Some shows have age restrictions. At all-ages shows, children aged 2 and under who don’t need a seat don’t require a ticket.
