Splash & Fun Water Park

The basics

Although Splash & Fun Water Park is very much a family attraction, there are a few thrilling features geared toward teens and adults, including near-vertical drop attractions like the Kamikaze and Free Fall. That said, families make up most of the visitors here, and special Family Pack tickets grant admission to two adults and two children.

Things to know before you go

• Seniors and children ages 3–12 can receive discounted admission, and children 2 and under can enter for free.

• Outside food and drink are prohibited, but the park has an on-site restaurant with an extensive menu of snacks, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and burgers.

• Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park.

How to get there

Splash & Fun is located in Naxxar, about a 20-minute drive up the coast from Valletta. You can take a taxi or rely on public transportation if you don't have a car. Bus No. 13 is your best bet if you want to avoid switching buses. Take it from Valletta A13 to the Caghaq stop, a 25-minute ride away. From Caghaq, it's about a 5-minute walk to the park.

When to get there

Splash & Fun Water Park is open from late May through the last full week of October, with extended hours in the July–August high season. While the high season is certainly the most crowded time to visit, it's also the hottest time of the year, making it ideal for water activities. June and September are excellent shoulder season alternatives for ideal weather with fewer crowds.

Malta 5D

If you're looking for something fun and educational to do with your family, Malta 5D in Valletta is a great choice. This cinema screens a history-focused film that leads viewers through thousands of years of Maltese history. It also includes seats that move, a 3D film (glasses are provided), and other surprises that add a tactile element to the experience.
