SkyFeast at Sydney Tower

108 Market St., Sydney, New South Wales, 2000

The 1,014-foot (309-meter) Sydney Tower is one of the most prominent buildings on the Sydney skyline and a city favorite for its panoramic views. The revolving SkyFeast restaurant on the 82nd floor provides slowly changing views alongside an extensive buffet of Australian and international fare. Locals visit for special occasions, while it's also a popular stop on Sydney sightseeing itineraries.

The basics

The lunch and dinner buffet at SkyFeast at Sydney Tower offers more than 30 dishes, including seafood and dessert. Different dining packages are available, including a package that guarantees a window seat. Diners get 90 minutes to enjoy their meals while admiring the views of central Sydney, Sydney Harbour, and beyond. Travelers typically visit independently, and although walk-in dining is sometimes possible, bookings are strongly recommended.

Things to know before you go

  • Wheelchair-accessible seating is available at SkyFeast, but it is limited, so arrange with the venue when booking.

  • SkyFeast sources its meat from a certified halal butcher, but it’s not a halal restaurant, so there's no guarantee that meals will be prepared following halal regulations.

  • Kids under 12 eat for free at SkyFeast on their birthday when dining with a paying adult (some restrictions apply).

How to get there

The Sydney Tower Eye is in central Sydney, right beside Hyde Park, so it’s easily accessible from around the city. The closest train station is St. James. There are several secure, paid parking lots near the Sydney Tower Eye: Westfield Sydney Valet Parking on King Street, and Wilson Parking Citipark and Wilson Parking on Kent Street.

When to get there

SkyFeast is open every day of the week for lunch and dinner. The lunch service is for a couple of hours in the middle of the day, and the dinner service is from early to mid-evening. The views are impressive both during the day and at night. Visit when the weather is clear for the best views.

Dine at the Sydney Opera House

Sydney Tower Eye isn’t the only landmark Sydney building to provide dining with great views. The Sydney Opera House has several eating and drinking options and an unbeatable location at Circular Quay. These include the celebrated Bennelong, which showcases the building’s signature arcs, and Midden by Mark Olive, run by acclaimed Bundjalung Indigenous chef Mark Olive. There are other bars and canteens at the Opera House, too.

Ways to explore

Choose from several package options when reserving your table at SkyFeast restaurant—all packages allow unlimited access to the buffet, which offers everything from fresh Australian seafood to mango mascarpone. Some packages include priority window seating or complimentary cocktails. Beverage packages are also available if you’re going all out. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner, and your reservation includes 90 minutes to sit at your table. As you dine, admire expansive views of the harbor and the glittering downtown core.
