Riverwalk Center Breckenridge

The basics

The Riverwalk Center primarily hosts concerts, though its calendar also facilitates other events such as plays, dance, and spoken word. The majority of the events are family-friendly shows unless otherwise noted. Check the venue’s schedule online and you’ll notice that nearly all events take place within two seasons: December through March and June through October. The Riverwalk Center is available to rent for private events, so the grounds close during these times.

Things to know before you go

• You can buy tickets online or in person throughout Breckenridge.

• The center’s events, services, and facilities are all handicap accessible.

• Smoking is prohibited inside and outside of the Riverwalk Center.

How to get there

The Riverwalk Center at Breckenridge is located in the heart of the city at 150 W Adams Avenue, just north of the Breckenridge Alpine Garden. Parking is available across the street at the Tiger Dredge Lot. You can also take the Riverwalk or Blue River Bikeway to the center. The closest bus stop is at F-lot via the Gold Express.

When to get there

You can still pass by and admire this dazzling performance venue on the banks of the Blue River when it’s closed on Saturdays, Sundays,, and Mondays. Tuesday through Friday, it’s open between 12pm and 5pm. If visiting for a performance, try to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the show.

Throughout the Breckenridge Arts District, you’ll find other collaborators with Breck Create such as Breck Film and Breckenridge Backstage Theatre. A great time to visit is during August for the annual Breckenridge International Festival of Arts.
