POINT OF INTEREST

Parc Spirou

1 Rue Jean-Henri Fabre, Monteux, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, 84170

Take in the rides, along with a dose of Franco-Belgian culture, at Provence’s Parc Spirou theme park inspired by Spirou, a Belgian cartoon character from the popular “Spirou and Fantasio” comic series. The park’s roller coasters, rides, play areas, and other interactive experiences are a special draw for kids and families.

The Basics

Themed around Spirou and other characters from his comic universe—including Fantasio, the Count de Champignac, Seccotine, Lucky Luke, and more—Parc Spirou boasts five roller coasters, eight additional rides, and immersive, multi-dimensional video entertainment like “Mesozoïk Island,” which includes up-close encounters with dinosaurs.

Book tickets to Parc Spirou before you visit to guarantee your admission, and simplify your entrance to the park. Both season ticket passes and individual day passes are available to purchase online. Discounted summer tickets may also be available, depending on when you visit.

Things to Know Before You Go

  • Purchase discounted children’s tickets for kids ages 4–16; children ages three and under visit Parc Spirou for free.

  • The park’s gift shops sell a range of toys, comic strips, and other gifts themed around Spirou and his companion characters.

  • Parc Spirou features two themed restaurants, as well as a terrace that includes food kiosks.

  • The majority of the park is accessible to strollers and to visitors with limited mobility, though some rides are not.
