How to Get There

The Luxor is across the street from Vegas’ McCarran International Airport. It sits on S. Las Vegas Boulevard between Mandalay Bay and Excalibur Hotel and can be reached by tram. Otherwise, grab a cab or limo from other locations around town.

When to Get There

The Titanic and Bodies exhibitions are open daily from late morning until late evening. Carrot Top performs every evening except Tuesday, and Blue Man Group performs twice nightly.

HyperX Esports Arena

To accommodate the increasing popularity of esports and online gaming, the Luxor has opened the HyperX Esports Arena, an entertainment space dedicated to competition gaming. The first of its kind on the Strip, the venue features a stage, video wall, and gaming stations.

Day visitors can book shows and exhibitions online. The sprawling casino is open to all, as are the spa, restaurants, and bars. To experience one of the Luxor’s four pools, book a lounge chair, daybed, or cabana.

Driving

To reach Luxor Las Vegas from Harry Reid International Airport, drive south on Paradise Road, then turn left on University Center Drive. Take another left on Tropicana Avenue, followed by a left on Las Vegas Boulevard.

Public transportation

A free tram links Luxor Las Vegas with Excalibur Hotel & Casino and Mandalay Bay. Or, you can use the Deuce bus that runs 24 hours a day along the Las Vegas Strip. It has a Luxor stop.

Best times to visit

Showtimes at the Luxor vary, but many major performances kick off around 8pm. Otherwise, visit at night to see the pyramid light up the sky.

Best days to visit

Weekdays at the casino and pools tend to be quieter—and it’s sometimes possible to find lower rates from Sunday to Thursday.

Best months to visit

If you’re coming for the pool parties, keep in mind that the outdoor pools are generally open from May through October, weather permitting.
