POINT OF INTEREST

Las Vegas Sky Zone

7440 Dean Martin Drive, Las Vegas, NV, 89139

Jump from one trampoline to another, defying gravity and dodging obstacles, at Las Vegas Sky Zone, a franchise known for creating the world’s first trampoline-walled play zone. This family-friendly activity center features a pit filled with 10,000 foam cubes, angled trampolines, dodgeball courts, and dunking contests.

The basics

Fun for all ages, this active entertainment park, a popular spot for kids’ birthday parties, is home to a range of activities including SkySlam, which combines trampolines with basketball nets. Some goals are suspended or even rotate to add to the challenge. SkyJoust is a gladiator-style battle that takes place on pedestals over a foam pit or air bag, while the Foam Zone lets you practice daring stunts safely. Plus, there are separate sections for adults and small children.

Things to know before you go

  • Tickets for 60-, 90-, and 120-minute sessions are available, as well as an all-day pass.

  • Sky Zone also hosts special programming for younger kids, and becomes a jumping, glowing dance club at night.

  • A liability waiver is required for each jumper; those under 18 must have their waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.

  • You’ll need to purchase special SkySocks with grip at the park as a safety and cleanliness measure.

  • Food, snacks, and drinks are available to buy on site.

  • Lockers are available for rent at the park.

How to get there

Las Vegas Sky Zone is about 10 minutes by car from the Las Vegas Strip, off exit 33 from I-15. You can hop on the Las Vegas Deuce on the Strip (known as The Deuce), which is a bus service for both locals and visitors. Transfer at the Gilespie at McCarran R-A-C Ctr stop to the 217 bus. The nearest stop to the park is Dean Martin, about a 3-minute walk away. Rideshare services and taxis are also available.

When to get there

Las Vegas Sky Zone is open daily from mid-morning, and remains open longer on Fridays and Saturdays during the summer. Keep in mind that weekends can get busy year-round, so reserve a spot online and sign the waiver in advance. Weekdays (Monday through Thursday) are usually less crowded.

Other family-friendly activities in Las Vegas

Although kids and casinos might not seem like a good combo, Las Vegas does offer a range of things to do for families traveling with younger children. In addition to the Sky Zone, you’ll find Shark Reef Aquarium at the Mandalay Bay where you can spot lots of sea creatures, and the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, which features exhibits such as prehistoric fossils, marine life, and Egyptian treasures.
