The basics

Music is the main draw at the House of Blues Las Vegas. On most evenings, you can catch performances by musicians playing jazz, blues, R&B, pop, rock, or hip-hop, and the venue also hosts comedy shows throughout the year. Before a show, lots of guests dine on Southern comfort food, such as hot chicken, gumbo, or jambalaya, at the House of Blues Restaurant and Bar.

You can also enhance your night with a visit to the Foundation Room VIP club, which offers upscale dining and drinking with sweeping views of the Las Vegas Strip—sometimes included in nightclub-hopping tours around Vegas.

Things to know before you go

• For an all-ages show, children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

• Re-entry to a performance is not permitted.

• For most shows, by spending a token amount in the restaurant, you receive a voucher that gives you priority entrance.

How to get there

House of Blues Las Vegas is inside Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. When you enter the building, walk past the elevators to the casino floor, take a right, follow the pathway to Starlight Tattoo, then take a left. House of Blues will be on the right. Paid parking is available in the resort’s garage.

When to get there

Opening hours at the House of Blues are from early morning until late at night every day. The box office is open on show days from midday to late evening. If you want to catch a show, check the online event schedule before your visit.

Gospel Brunch

A highlight of the House of Blues calendar is Sunday’s Gospel Brunch. While helping yourself to a buffet of classic Southern dishes, such as chicken and waffles, you can enjoy the stirring sounds of a gospel choir as they sing in the restaurant. It’s a great way to recharge after a Saturday night in Sin City.
