POINT OF INTEREST

Guano Point

Grand Canyon National Park, AZ

Sweeping panoramic views of the Grand Canyon stretch in all directions from Guano Point, set near a historic guano mine in Grand Canyon West. Take in the vistas of the canyon and Colorado River, hike the scenic trail skirting the canyon rim, and spot the remains of the aerial tramway system that once transported miners across the canyon. Afterwards, relax at the Guano Point Cafe and pick up local crafts as souvenirs from the site’s gift shop.

The basics

Visitors can experience other attractions like the Skywalk, rafting excursions, zipline adventures, and helicopter tours with admission ticket packages. A free shuttle bus runs between the Grand Canyon West parking area and the sights and activities inside.
