Allou! Fun Park

The Basics

Buy tickets for rides individually at the park, or pick from a range of park passes with different ride combs and for various family groupings; some include a meal. Park passes offer a much better value than paying for rides individually, and you can save time by buying online.

Allou! Fun Park is some way out of downtown Athens and off the metro map, so families, in particular, might want to opt for a tour package that includes door-to-door round-trip transfers. This isn’t Disney, so expect to see the park in under half a day.

Things to Know Before You Go

• Allou! Fun Park is a good option for families whose kids are sick of ruins.

• While some rides may seem old, they are all certified safe.

• Both height and age limits apply on many Allou! rides.

• Allou! Fun Park does not have much to offer travelers who rely on wheelchairs.

How to Get There

Allou! Fun Park and Kidom are about a 5-mile (7.5-kilometer) drive west of Syntagma Square, off the metro map, in Agios Ioannis Rentis. Catch the metro to Egaleo (line 3), where a number of buses connect to the park, including the 420 (get off at Merkoure). Alternatively, enjoy the convenience of a tour that includes transport direct from your door.

When to Get There

Allou! is open from late afternoon until midnight on weekdays but opens in the mornings on weekends and public holidays. Kidom shuts a little earlier. Avoid visiting on public holidays, and be aware that the park gets crowded for special events, such as Halloween.

What to Do at Allou! Fun Park

Parents of little kids will find plenty to keep their darlings happy at Kidom, from carousels to flying elephants and swan boats. Besides the fairground attractions, Allou! also offers some more 21st-century appeal. There’s a “7D” movie theater, with effects including smoke and mist. Escape-room fans will love Volcano Island, a live-action escape game set on a mysterious island with an active volcano.
