My husband and I disagreed on whether this hotel met our expectations or fell below. The price was definitely good. This is basically two bldgs. The front bldg seems to be nonsmoking and no pets. The backside seems to be both. Check in and check out was easy. The front bldg was clean and smelled good. The breakfast was adequate but the frozen omelets and sausages were unappetizing. The back bldg showed a lot of age (rust on the stairs for example). The rooms were overall clean. Despite putting in my special instructions that we would be bringing two small dogs (perhaps I should’ve called to confirm) we had to be moved. When we arrived, the night manager (who was very friendly) moved us to a pet friendly room that happened to have had smokers on more than one occasion. She told us it was nonsmoking but it was not. Someone had even covered the smoke detector with plastic. Smokiness wasn’t too bad so we decided to stay since it was late.
