The Bothell campus of the University of Washington/Cascadia Community College at 17819 113th Ave. N.E., dates from 1889 and encompasses a wetlands area crisscrossed with several miles of paved trails. Visitors can walk along an elevated section of boardwalk where native species have been planted; signs and photographs describe the restoration process. The Town-Gown Loop, a 2.7-mile trail featuring 20 interpretive plaques, links the campus with downtown Bothell.
