Location was great. No one answered the phone at the front desk. We were in a tower separate from lobby etc. We had to walk over to talk to them since they didn’t pick up the phone. The fan in the bathrooms were ineffective. We changed rooms. The water smelled like sulfur. No extra toilet paper. There were 2 individuals vaping in the joined Claim Jumpers restaurant. Random people sitting in area in between towers smoking and otherwise. I could go on. Corporate was contacted as there other issues as well.

Luckily, a 3 block walk to public transit; to SeaWorld from Santa Fe Station take the green line and get off at Old Town, then transfer to #9 bus. It takes you directly to Sea World for $2.50 each way! From Santa Fe station take the #215 bus directly to the Zoo! We loved the location of the hotel especially with an airport shuttle!

Everything about our stay was perfect! On arrival in San Diego, we discovered that I had forgotten to bring our cruise documents. The evening manager, JC, was helpful in printing out replacements.

Thie Wyndham San Diego is more like a motel than a hotel. The lobby was not modern and very dark and dingy. The room was average but not great. The staff was not courteous or helpful. It was not worth $350 a night.
