This inn has a quiet Victorian atmosphere and is situated in the heart of downtown on the banks of the Raquette river. Spacious rooms have antique furnishings and some have water views. Smoke free premises. 40 units. 2 stories (no elevator), interior corridors.

The Clarkson is a charming inn located in a quaint village near a peaceful river. The accommodations were clean, neat and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was limited but appreciated. It was a very quiet place and I slept very well during my business trip. I would definitely recommend it for those needing to stay in the area. At the time we went there was not much to see and there could be more restaurants, but overall happy with the experience.
Clean room, courteous staff, good breakfast, great location downtown next to a public park along the river.
