When we made our reservation, we filtered for pet friendly rooms. I was happy to get a suite since we'd be staying 2 nights and using this as home base for area sightseeing. Upon checkin we were told the suites were not available for pets and the only option was a single or double queen. Nothing with a sitting area. This was a huge disappointment! To compound our disappointment our room was rather shabby and very small. There also was no microwave in the room. In addition, the hotel entry and hallway had a strange smell. The breakfast area was very tired and small, like an afterthought in the entry. They called it pet friendly, but there was no exterior pet area. I had to walk the dog along the main thoroughfare off of hotel property. If I had known all this, I would have booked a different hotel.
