This is the most filthy hotel I've been in, and my standards are not high. A missing tiles in the entry, a chew cup on the recption counter, a scary elevator, trash in the hallways, two unclean rooms (as noted by the drink bottles, half-eaten cookie on the desk, toothpaste in the sink and a large, red stain on a poorly-made bed), etc. This is the first time I've walked out of a hotel and asked for a refund before even setting my bag down. The fellow at the reception had a hard time figuring out how to give a refund and a receipt. The AmericInns in Minnesota have a nice quality standard, which is why I booked here. The people at this AmericInn have no pride in their establishment.
