Overview
A primeval forest, Aokigahara Jyukai was born 1200 years ago. It is located on foot of a volcanic mauntain, Mt. Fuji. The Sea of Trees is a forest formed on a large amount of lava flows that flowed out of Mt. Fuji. Trees and moss, ferns have vigorously grown and widespread, sunlight illuminates vibrant nature, the spectacular scenery and the atmosphere are truly breathtaking. Surrounding the area are many ancient caves with fresh water directly from the snow on Mount Fuji. The area is full of natural wonders. Join our English speaking guide on a private tour of the area to learn about the natural wonders of this forest. Your tour time will be 6 hours from pick up to drop off. Note: The Government Licensed Guide Interpreter certification is issued by the Japanese government requires a good knowledge and understanding of Japanese culture and history.
