Overview
Stop first at Cabanas de São Jorge, a picturesque village surrounded by mountains and vineyards. Stop for lunch in pretty Ponta Delgada before heading further north to São Vicente, a valley home to the famous Sao Vicente Caves & Volcanism Centre. Take a tour of the subterranean caverns, created by a volcanic eruption that occurred almost a million years ago, and learn more about geology in the on-site museum. After a journey through the scenic Ribeira Brava, your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.
