Welcome to “Gamla Stan” - where old meets new. Our Old Town Walking Tour offers a quick overview of the Old Town in around 1,5h. You will learn about the Old Town's dark past and colorful present, architectural details, how life was in Stockholm back in the days, as well the importance of the German trade/Hanse era. The Old Town of Stockholm consists of several islands, where we focus on Riddarholmen and Stadsholmen. We cover the following sights: - German Church - Järnpojken - Järntorget - Mårten Trotzigs gränd - Nobel Prize Museum - Prästgatan - Royal Palace - Riddarholmen Church & Birger Jarl Square - Storkyrkan (Stockholm Cathedral) - Stortorget - Viking theme: an old rune stone from the 11th century + Viking themed recommendations such as the Viking restaurant Aifur & UNESSCO site Birka - Västerlånggatan After the tour your guide will stay around for a chat and happily help you with any recommendations. You will also receive a list of your guides local recommendations.
