67.0 miles: 1 hours, 19 minutes

Ontario's PR 60 takes you through Algonquin Provincial Park, the oldest provincial park in Canada. The park's scenery inspired the Canadian landscape artists known as the Group of Seven.

PR 60 skirts the heart of Ontario's most spectacular and pristine lake regions. Algonquin Provincial Park, once a lumbering area, transitions from southern deciduous to northern coniferous forest and offers a hilly refuge for bears, beavers, deer, moose and small game. The most scenic portion of the route is from PR 35 to Whitney at the east boundary of the park.
