Set on 18 acres, this 1862 Federal-style home was Sheriff Lightner's house during the Civil War and also served as a Union field hospital. You'll find cozy guest rooms named after notable figures who were present during the Battle of Gettysburg with the exception the Lincoln bedroom. Be sure to ask the owners for more details on the unique history of this lovely property. Homemade cookies are offered each afternoon, and a three-course scratch-made breakfast is served daily in the dining room. Smoke free premises. 6 units. 3 stories (no elevator), interior corridors.
