The lobby was unoccupied when we arrived. We were sent to the hotel next door (Motel 5) to check in. The front desk had a phone number to call to contact the clerk. The clerk met us at the Motel 8 about 5 minutes later. I never saw a clerk again my whole stay. No coffee was made in the morning. The place was noisy. The lobby had an unpleasant odor. I’m giving it 2 stars because the room was clean. Other than that, I would have given it 1 star.
