The property is poorly maintained and showing age. The last time we will stay there
The location of the hotel is excellent. Lots of restaurants in the area, plus moments to Colorado Mills Mall. I had a king bedroom/suite type set up, which was very nice. It had a separate sitting area with a couch and table which I really enjoyed. I also really liked the built in luggage stand in the closet. Very convenient. That said, I thought the walls were very thin. My next-door neighbors let their kids stay up until 5am one night, which kept me up as well. I did complain to the front desk, and I never heard a peep from them for the rest of my stay. My point is that you can hear everything through the walls that goes on in the room next to yours. I also don't care for the fact that dogs are allowed in the hotel. I paid $800 for my stay, and for that kind of money I really don't wish to hear dogs barking all night. You should have pet only floors for people who insist on bring their pets with them. That way, they can do whatever they want, and the rest of us who live in their world don't have to listen to them. I also really didn't care for the fact that this hotel allows homeless people to come in in the morning for breakfast. Several mornings, I saw homeless men waiting outside the door until breakfast was served, come in when it was ready, help themselves to coffee and food, and then go back outside to eat. This is unacceptable in my book. It is unsanitary, unhealthy, and unsafe, and should never be allowed. This is a hotel not a shelter. The fact that everybody and anybody can come in off the street at any time leads me to believe that this hotel doesn't care about my safety or the security of the hotel. I have stayed at hotels all over the world, and, never once have I ever seen this happen. Every hotel I've ever stayed in has made it abundantly clear that breakfast is for paying guests and paying guests only. I paid $800 for my stay, and for that kind of money, I don't wish to share my breakfast with the homeless. Would I stay at this hotel again? For the above reasons, no. There are far better hotels in the Denver area to choose from.
There was a tour bus parked right in front of our room which filled our room with exhaust and was very noisy. Supposedly the bus could nit be moved or shut off for the night and belonged to some VIP's. We are not VIP's I guess. After insisting they provide another room we finally got assigned a handicap room Lost the king bed as well as a closet and a bureau and a half finished TV cabinet. We survived. I dont think I would stay here because of that incident. Otherwise its a great location, all amenities are nearby and the breakfast is decent.
