To begin: Only one clerk was working on a Saturday evening at check-in. The parking lot was difficult to navigate and poorly maintained. Some rooms were inside, but we had to go outside to find our room (without directions posted) The courtyard and the rooms smelled of smoke, even though the entire facility was supposed to be smoke-free. When we finally got to our room, we were greeted by a dead cockroach in the foyer. From that point on, we were soured on the whole stay and very nearly left. After enjoying dinner away from the motel, we returned to find several people tailgating in the parking lot. Why? There was no event or game nearby. They were just drinking and cooking and sitting on lawn chairs in the motel parking lot. We left as soon as possible and so did not partake in the free breakfast, so I can not speak to that. Overall, this was a disappointing stay for a AAA-rated facility and from a chain I used to consider much better.
