I am a HHonors cardmember who enjoys staying at Hilton hotels. This stay, by far, was a disaster. First time at a Home2Home hotel ... never again. We were booked into a lg suite on the first floor (very nice). Unfortunately, the air conditioner sounded like a train roaring through an intersection. Changed room to the second floor - a lg. suite - same problem with air conditioner. Switched to a 3rd room - smaller suite - same problem with air conditioner. Didn't want to move AGAIN, so we stayed. Now...the problems with THIS room. No WiFi, telephone did NOT work, bedside light was not working, fan light did not work. Also, the hotel did not have ice, ANYWHERE, in the building. Plus, only one elevator was working. Seems to me that this hotel had/has serious mechanical issues that have not been addressed lately. We had decided to cut our stay to just one night, since this hotel was too far from the place we were visiting in The Woodlands. The manager was very courteous to us when we let her know of our issues. In all fairness, we did receive a 20% discount on our bill. We stayed at Homewood Suites the next day and was very satisfied.
There was not enough towels in the room. I kept asking for towels my entire stay. They just kept saying their being washed. Nobody cleaned my room.
