There is a $10/day parking fee if you have a car. I didn’t see that mentioned anywhere. We stayed in the 2 queen beach front room with balcony. It had a microwave, small fridge, kcup coffee maker, and the A/C worked great. A weird thing they do is large wall mounted shampoo conditioner instead of the small ones. That would be ok but ours were empty the whole stay, even after asking for them to be filled. Didn’t really affect me but my wife was annoyed that we had to go buy some since we didn’t pack any. The restaurant downstairs is a bit pricy but we tried some of the drinks, burger, and gumbo which is larger than I thought it would be and all were really good. The pool is really nice and you have access to the pool at the hotel next door connected poolside with a walkway. Of course the beach is amazing with perfect white sand. The beach chairs unfortunately are not part of the hotel but a separate guy that charges $50 a day. We just used a towel on the ground and the sand is so nice it didn’t matter. Walking distance to the aquarium and a small boardwalk with 3 or 4 restaurants all were kind of expensive and seafood themed but all were really good. They do run out of fresh oysters near closing so I’d go a bit earlier if you want those.
