The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the location made it possible to visit both Zion and Bryce as well as the Grand Canyon.

When we checked in, the manager said our booking was made through Expedia. I'd not understood that AAA used Expedia. The other thing the manager suggested was (of course) to avoid 3rd parties & book direct, or at least always call the hotel to confirm a room had actually been booked. The big surprise was getting a room next to the mechanical room, which made a low rumbling sound all night. We were tired enough that we slept OK, but a light sleeper would have found it difficult. I'll never know if we got that room because we booked indirectly, but I wonder. The staff was in the back room when we arrived, but came out after a short wait. They were very friendly. When I went to the desk to check out in the morning, they were nowhere in evidence, so I had to just leave the keys in the "Key Drop" basket on the desk. Not a big deal, but I do like to confirm my checkout & get a receipt in the event of mis-charges. The only thing that said "Hampton" was the from sign - Hilton has taken this operation over. The hotel & room were clean, the beds comfortable. But I suspect that since the pandemic has ended & a flood of tourists has begun, staffing & running a hotel has probably become quite difficult. I know this review is too long, but it feels good to vent.
