I was very disappointed with the customer service that I received at this hotel...almost immediately upon arrival. My guest and I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport. We were tired and wanted to eat and go to bed, as we were scheduled for an early exit. We tried to contact the restaurant for room service, but kept getting redirected to the front desk. Every time. When the front desk answered, I was put on hold, and left there several minutes. Each time. Finally, I got dressed again, and went downstairs to address the problem with the Manager, just to discover that it was the Manager that kept placing me on hold. I explained that I understood that businesses do get busy and that Im not the only visitor, but I felt like I was being ignored. I was then told that the customers standing in line at the desk took priority over the ones waiting on the phone. This made no sense to me, as I felt a customer is a customer whether im on the phone or in line. Anyway, eventually the situation was rectified by the Manager giving us a free drink and a $40 credit towards our meal. However I need to say, that as much as I appreciate the gratuity, I was able to pay for any charges that I created. I just wanted to be treated with respect and common courtesy.
