The first night was wonderful. The second night a baseball team and their girl friends were also on my floor. Their party started after 10:00 pm. They were loud and obnoxious going from room to room slamming doors, banging on doors and yelling in the hall. Both male and female were having a wonderful time. It sounded like the movie Animal House and we were in Motel 6. I called the front desk 3 times and for some reason their Security Staff could not control these brats. The front desk offered to move me and my dog to another room and I asked why should I be inconvenienced for their party? I am a widow in my 70’s and chose your Hotel hoping to have a quiet, safe experience. Instead it was a nightmare. The next morning at the front desk I asked for a discount and was told since I booked through a third party AAA they couldn’t give me one. However, Double Tree Management needs to know you are running a party house for drunk kids.
There was no indication that a self-parking fee would be charged or what the amount would be ($12/day). The room TV could not display either CBS or NBC. The breakfast buffet was out of a lot of items (had to tell server) and was very expensive for what you got.

Nice hotel and staff. AAA listing quoted a price with all known fees and taxes… then the hotel tacked on an additional $12 parking fee. Bad to not disclose in the reservation.

I expected more from this hotel but was a little disappointed. There was no fridge or microwave in the room at all. Room was nice enough and worked for me. Things seemed a bit run down but overall it was an ok stay. People were nice and everything worked out ok.
