For the amount of money paid for the room I would expect it to be clean, and have all of the usual amenities and functioning appliances. However, the room was dirty and not well kept, there was no smoke detector we literally had wires just hanging out of the wall. The refrigerator did not work, it was warm and smelled inside. There was no hairdryer in the room which is usually a given. I was very disappointed and will not recommend to anyone and feel AAA should not promote this hotel.
The hotel smelled like *** and pot, it was so strong and discussing, the toilet was so low that it was hard to use, the staff was excellent but the location was awful, drugs, homeless, dirty around the hotel, the parking lot was so scary that anyone can be attacked so easily with no security. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. We had to get another hotel for the last night because we did not feel safe at all.
Service could have been better. Tried on a couple of occasions to get coffee in the lobby; found grounds in the urn. Room not as clean as I would have liked. Shower didn't drain well. Perhaps a consequence of Covid, but I miss having breakfast service. Instead, we get limited food selections in a paper bag and nowhere to eat except your room.
