The location is bad and you feel unsafe.

I would not give them that if I could complete this survey without doing it. We didn’t stay there because the website was completely inaccurate. There were no restaurants across the street like it said and the hotel was not in a good area. We showed the front desk clerk the description of her hotel and she said that wasn’t her hotel
Low quality hotel in a very bad area. The automatic doors were locked at the main entrance to keep homeless people out, you had to use your key card to get in the building or ring the door bell and wait for the staff to see you on camera and open the doors. The chair in our room had several noticeable holes in the fabric. Our bath tub plumbing was partially clogged causing the water to rise every time we took a shower. The toilet broke in our first room after one flush so we had to switch rooms. The only positive was the staff was nice. I would not recommend this hotel.

After driving 8 hours with our child, we needed a clean place in a city along the way to rest our heads. We just wanted simple and clean. We chose this location due to the AAA diamond rating and the inspected clean designation. Unfortunately it must have been ages since it earned either of these designations. (Or they paid someone off.) In addition to the poor souls wandering the property looking for a way in, there was a soaking wet carpet outside our doorway. When we entered the room our son immediately fell asleep on the bed. We brought our few bags in, and my husband opened the fridge to put the milk and cold packs in as I went to use the bathroom. The fridge filled the room with an unspeakable odor that stuck to us and the items we brought in the room and the bathroom had a nearly dead cockroach. The bathroom counter was coming apart from the wall and left a gash of an opening to the inner wall, and the ceiling tile just above the toilet was stained and bowed as if ready to give way and drop who knows what at any second. It was 10:30, the child was sleeping, a poor soul had crashed next to our car, barring us from accessing it, and we had no other options that we could afford (with our money being ******* here). So we took a nap on top of the covers for a few hours and checked out asap. While the hotel staff was friendly, we also didn’t press them as there is literally no way they didn’t know the hotel had the water damage or chemical spray or stinky fridge… we counted it a loss. Do NOT recommend. Staff may be friendly but upper management is obviously not on top of things. They can blame present staff all they want but if they aren’t stepping up it’s a them problem, not a staff problem. Find another place.
