We chose this motel/hotel due to the AAA+ rating since the last AAA booked motel/hotel was below our standards. The room was clean and adequate. The breakfast and lobby area were extremely small. We went to the breakfast area about 7:45 am. There were no eggs or baked goods. The one person in charge of the main desk and food preparation wasn't able to keep the breakfast area in food due to covering both areas. We have always felt satisfied with AAA approved hotel/motels, but lately not so much.

Trying to get into the room...Keycard worked, green light went on, but door wouldn't open. Went to front desk and told them. Nice gentleman came up and said I had to push the bottom of the door with my foot after turning the handle and apply some force. Door opened. Room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast, they provided sausages, eggs (slow to resupply container) and french toast sticks. Fruit was just green apples, no banannas. Waffle maker labeled broken. On Saturday and Sunday I noticed they did little to supply more breakfast items after 9:15am. I left Sunday at 10:15am. Several times Saturday night I walked by the front desk. No one was there to greet guests. You had to ring the bell to get someone's attention. Do Not Disturb door hanger signs normally found in most motels/hotels were absent from rooms. Had to request one from the front desk. Also lobby sofa had an obvious spill on the seat cushion that appeared to be dry and must have been there for days.
