Best Western Murfreesboro Inn

My experience was absolutely horrible during my short stay here. The room was FILTHY. Bugs crawling on the ceiling, windows, curtains and window ledge. Stains on the pillow cases and towels. Dirt and dust all built up on the window unit for A/C and heat, which was being held together by duct tape. The sink was severely clogged and not draining properly. And there were dead insects of some sort on the floor. I had to lay a walkway of towels all along the floor because I refused to walk on it without some sort of barrier. The pillows (for a king size bed) were a joke. Not even king size pillows. You can hear every single car that passes on the interstate behind the building. Awful, Awful experience at this motel. I will never stay here again.

Yes - we walked into the "front office" and the man who greeted us looked like he just woke up and his t shirt was wrinkled and he looked sloppy. Not professional at all. He also was not very personal or welcoming. Next we walked into our room that reeked of Lysol Spray. I got out of the shower and walked around - then noticed my feet were filthy. I took towels and wiped down the entire floor (with was vinyl planking, not carpet). The room was decent but furniture was old and dinged up quite a bit. The hotel was right off the freeway and noisey. It was later in the day and we almost left. We actually checked out some other hotels on line but decided just to deal with it for the night. Next morning we got up early and had breakfast. The guy at the counter actually called my husband by name (which is the only reason I did not give this hotel a 1 star) Breakfast eggs were empty but when they refilled them, they were cold. Glad to leave.
