Yep. I booked 2 rooms through AAA. Chose rooms that were more expensive because it said they were “club level” and would have access to extra amenities, snacks, etc. Called the hotel to ask for adjoining rooms and was told there would be no problem. At the hotel, was told that I would have to pay extra (above the extra price I had already paid in advance) for the club level because I had booked through a third party vendor. They said that they did not have any club level rooms available anyway, nor did they have any adjoining rooms. I felt uncomfortable staying in rooms that were not adjoining but had already paid in advance and was meeting friends staying in the same hotel. After much discussion at the front desk, nothing was resolved at all. And the beds were not comfortable. I am hesitant to book anything again though AAA and may not renew my membership.
