The forest also contains Granite Mountain Trail (a National Recreation Trail), and Lynx Lake where boating and fishing take place all year. Groom Creek is an equestrian-only campground. Most campgrounds are first-come, first-served; Lynx Campground and Groom Creek accept reservations. Some popular day-use areas in Prescott have a $5 parking fee.
