Aside from offering a wide range of recreational activities, walking trails and playing fields, Fort Borst Park includes several historical sites. Located at the confluence of the Skookumchuck and Chehalis rivers, the 101-acre park occupies land homesteaded by Joseph Borst; the Borsts were among the first pioneer families to settle this area in the 1850s.
