Independence Grove Forest Preserve covers 1,100 acres and surrounds a lake reclaimed from a gravel quarry. This outdoor recreation area features 5.5 miles of trails designed for bicycling, hiking and inline skating. The marina offers boat rentals, fishing and swimming.
