I had a great experience at this hotel. I had a king bedroom suite all to myself, and it was spacious and clean and well-appointed. My room was right off the lobby, and, at first, I was concerned about noise from people coming and going and using the breakfast room in the morning. But I need not have worried. The bed in the room is situated in the back corner in such a way that I didn't hear a thing. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were plenty and fluffy and comfortable as well. Slept great every night! Bathroom was clean, although the switches were located behind the outside of the door when it was opened which made for a little confusion. Sink area/vanity was clean and spacious, plenty of room for my toiletries. Made getting ready in the morning super easy. The closet was a little tight, and the safe inside didn't work. It did not seem to have any power. I did not end up needing it anyway, so not a big deal for me. Breakfast was hot and fresh every morning, with a varied selection of hot and cold options. Coffee was fresh and strong, just the way I like it. My one complaint is that the hotel is difficult to find, especially at night. The address lists it as being on Union Avenue. That is incorrect. The hotel itself cannot be seen from Union, and there is no signage alluding to the hotel anywhere on Union. One is better off using Van Gordon Street to access the hotel. The sign at the street is not lit at night (at least not when I was there), and the gold-lettered sign on the building cannot be seen from the street, so the hotel was tricky to find when I first arrived at night. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely stay there again in the future.
