The first room they sent us to, on the 3rd floor, was being repaired for a water leak. There were tools & dirty towels on the sink & floor, just inside the door. The maintenance man came to the front desk with us & told them the room was being repaired & to give us another room. The next room they gave us, also on the 3rd floor, had empty beer bottles, trash & wet towels on the floor, the bed was unmade & they hadn't cleaned it yet. So, we went back to the front desk. Then they gave us a room on the 2nd floor. It smelled musty, the bathtub faucet constantly dripped, the blanket on the bed had a stain at the bottom & the chairs were so old, the fabric was visibly worn & the arm rests were torn. These rooms are very outdated & in serious need of an overhaul. The price of $135/night was way too high, since the quality of the room was so poor. The cost for the room should be no more than $85. We've stayed at a Super 8 hotel, for less & that room was much better quality than this Econo Lodge rooms are.
