Sojourn Suites Portland Airpor

Unfortunately the computers were down so the front desk had no information about my reservation. My room was given to another customer and I had to stay in a different room with smaller beds. When I arrived at my room the place looked pretty good at first glance but the closer I looked the worse it got. There was *** and curly hairs on the toilet seat and broken parts of a vape pen in the bathroom cabinet. The toilet leaked and there was water pooling up on the floor. I told the front desk and they moved me to the last room available, which I appreciated very much. The room I reserved was discounted because I went through AAA but when it was check out time the computers weren’t fully rebooted so they said they would send me an invoice which they did but I was charged way more than my reservation had quoted me. I’ve talked to the front desk twice and was told that it would be handled yet never was. Will not be staying there again.

The front desk staff was very nice and we love this hotel. On the morning we checked out, I dropped an item down the open sink drain (no stopper). We needed help to retrieve it and were told the maintenance guy would be on duty in 15 minutes and she would send him down to our room. Forty-five minutes later we decided we needed to get on the road and when we got to the front desk, he was there on the computer just clocking in. The clerk asked him to go take a look and he was back with my item in less than 5 minutes. A small issue, but it cost them one star. Would stay here again.
